Invest Atlanta envisions a redevelopment project that strengthens the City’s efforts to establish Atlanta’s downtown as a world-class intown destination. Interested developers are encouraged to bring forward proposals that align with the City’s community, financial, social and sustainability goals.
Two Peachtree was the tallest building in the Southeast when it was constructed in 1966, and it remained
Atlanta’s tallest until 1976. Designed by Emery Roth & Sons and FABRAP, Two Peachtree rises 44 stories above Peachtree Street and sits adjacent to both Woodruff Park and the Five Points Marta Station, the primary hub of Atlanta’s heavy rail network. The tower comprises approximately 889,000 gross square feet.
14 Marietta was built in 1940 as the original headquarters of First National Bank prior to development of the Tower. 14 Marietta is a 7 story building containing 120,600 gross SF and was last renovated at the time of the completion of the Tower.
The conversion and adaptive re-use of 2 Peachtree and 14 Marietta represents a significant opportunity
for a qualified Respondent to introduce new and dynamic life to the the City of Atlanta through the
adaptive re-use and residential conversion of these historic buildings.
